Fiscal Service Seeks Financial Agent to Support Centralized Receivables Service

October 21, 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Bureau of the Fiscal Service is requesting applications from financial institutions interested in becoming a financial agent to operate, maintain, expand and improve the government's Centralized Receivables Service. The Centralized Receivables Service is a service provided to federal agencies by the Fiscal Service to assist in managing accounts receivable and increasing collections on current receivables.

Submissions will be evaluated by several key criteria that include the ability to maintain outstanding execution of government-wide receivables management services, provide a system architecture that results in a flexible platform, anticipate the need for any system enhancements that market practices may demand, and be cost-effective in operating the Centralized Receivables Service program.

Applications are due by 6 p.m. Eastern Time on November 23, 2016. More information and the complete list of requirements are available on the Centralized Receivables Service web page.
