Getting Started for Federal Agencies

Your agency can arrange to deposit cash and checks in banks and credit unions that participate in TGA. We have participating banks throughout the world, so this program can help many field offices.

The Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) of St. Louis acts as fiscal agent for the TGA program.

To deposit money through the TGA program, your agency must have authorization from the St. Louis FRB.

What you need to send

To arrange that authorization, you must send 2 documents to the St. Louis FRB:

  • A completed TGA Profile Sheet
  • A formal request in writing on agency letterhead and signed by an agency representative authorized to act for the agency

Where and how to send the 2 documents

You can send the documents as e-mail attachments, by fax, or by mail.

E-mail:

The fax and mail address are on the Profile Sheet.

When to request authorization

You must notify the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis at least 30 days before making your first deposit.
