Upgrade Any Remaining Windows 7 OTCnet Workstations to Windows 10 by End of January 2021
In addition to Windows no longer being supported by Microsoft as of January 14, 2020, the Treasury Web Application Infrastructure (TWAI), where OTCnet resides, will implement a necessary security upgrade in January 2021.
As a result of this upgrade, Windows 7 users will no longer be able to access OTCnet using Internet Explorer. Therefore, in order to avoid any OTCnet access issues, we ask that that you upgrade all Windows 7 terminals to Windows 10 by end of January 2021.
If there are instances where workstations cannot be upgraded by to Windows 10 by January 2021, the current version of Chrome can be installed on those terminals as an interim solution to access OTCnet until the Windows 10 upgrade is completed. Please let us know if you have any Windows 7 terminals where the current version of Chrome cannot be installed.
Please communicate with your IT department to reconfigure your terminals to Windows 10 and download the latest version of the OTCnet firmware (Check Processing only) and OLB.
