Upgrade to Windows 10

If your agency hasn’t done so already, we require upgrading your terminals to Windows 10 since Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft as of January 14, 2020 and therefore will no longer be supported by OTCnet.

There is currently a production issue impacting agencies who are using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer. Windows 7 users are experiencing OTCnet login issues when using Internet Explorer (IE). Also, Windows 7 users are experiencing check scanning issues when using Google Chrome with the OTCnet Local Bridge (OLB) versions older than 1.3. To avoid any Check Processing delays, it is required that OTCnet users upgrade their workstation to Windows 10.

In the interim, OTCnet users have the option to use Deposit Processing to deposit checks if a Windows 10 workstation is not available.

Please communicate with your IT department to reconfigure your terminals to Windows 10 and download the latest version of the OTCnet firmware (Check Processing only) and OLB. Please note, a new OLB version 2.2.0 and Firmware version 4.30 will be released on September 26, 2020 as part of Release 3.3. Please upgrade to these latest versions once they are available.
