Managing your EagleCash™ card 

Where do I manage my EagleCash card?

If your base has a self-service kiosk, use that. If it does not, you can do everything at the Finance Office.

When can I use the kiosk?

The kiosks are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What can I do at the kiosk?

You can:

  • Load funds from your bank account to the card up to the daily download limit of $350.00
  • Unload funds from your card to your bank account
  • Perform a card to card transfer
  • Change your PIN
  • See/Print the last 10 transactions performed
  • Check the balance on the card

What can I do at the Finance Office?

You can:

  • Load cash or a negotiable instrument to the card
  • Make a "Savings Deposit Program" deposit
  • Change your PIN
  • Receive assistance with card issues
  • Report the card lost or stolen
  • Get a card issued to you

How does the kiosk work?

  • When you put your card into the slot at the kiosk, it asks for your PIN.
  • After you've entered your PIN, the kiosk reads the information about your account from the chip on the card.
  • You choose the action you want from the list on the kiosk screen.
  • If you are transferring money to or from your card, you choose the amount.
  • The kiosk checks the amount loaded on the card for that day against the daily limit of $350 and will not allow amounts above the limit.
  • The kiosk completes your action and returns the card to you.
  • The kiosk operates offline and transmits files to the Federal Reserve Bank every 24 hours.
  • If you transferred money, the card now has the new value and you can use it right away. (Transactions can take up to four business days to post to the account for some banks)

What if I make a mistake while using the kiosk?

You can usually reverse or add to any transaction to reach the correct amount or just press Cancel. If you can’t correct the mistake at the kiosk, call the Customer Service center or get help from the local military finance office.

How much money can I transfer?

Cards are issued with a limit of $350 but the local Command can alter the amount for certain exceptions or valid circumstances. The Finance Office can tell you what that is.

Is there a fee to use the kiosk?

No. EagleCash never charges a fee for using the kiosk or the card.

Do I get a receipt when I use the kiosk?

Yes. If you choose that option, you get a receipt for each transaction at the kiosk.

What if my card doesn't work in the kiosk?

Take the card to the Finance Office. They will help solve the problem. You can also contact the Customer Service Center at the number on the back of the card.

What if I think the balance the kiosk tells me is wrong?

Print a Transaction History Report. That tells you everything the card has been used for recently.

If you think something is wrong on that report or you still think the balance is wrong, go to the Finance Office. They can help you figure out what has happened.

Will what I do at the kiosk show up on my bank or credit union statement?

Yes. When you get your checking or savings account statement, you will see all the times you transferred money at the kiosk from or to that account. Each transaction will be labeled "US Treas – EagleCash Kiosk" and will show you the date and amount of the transaction. It can take up to four business days to show on your bank account.
