Is there a cost to Federal Agencies to use the ASAP system?

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service does not charge federal agencies any fee to use ASAP.gov

Is there a cost to Payment Requestors/Recipient Organizations to use the ASAP system?

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service does not charge recipient organizations any fee to use or make payment requests via ASAP.gov

Does ASAP allow batch processing and who can process batch files?

Only Federal agencies can transmit batch files to create and manage accounts and submit authorizations.

Is there a minimum required award amount before a federal agency may place a grantor program on ASAP?

No, there is not a minimum amount.

What is my ASAP ID?

For federal agencies, the ASAP ID is your agency's Agency Location Code and Region Code, (if applicable).

What procedures should be followed if changes occur within your Federal Program Agency i.e., contact names, addresses and telephone numbers, individuals being added or deleted from the system?

Contact the Kansas City Financial Center to learn how to make these changes and if necessary complete the appropriate paperwork.

What should be done if someone forgets their password?

New password requirements allow users to self-service their password. This can be done by logging onto ASAP.gov and selecting the "forgot user ID" option.
