Intra-Governmental Payment and Collection (IPAC)

What is IPAC?

IPAC is a way for Federal Program Agencies (FPAs) to transfer funds from one agency to another with standardized descriptive data.

IPAC has three components:

  • IPAC
  • Retirement and Insurance Transfer System (RITS)
  • Treasury Receivable Accounting and Collection System (TRACS)

IPAC is working on a release that will be implemented in December 2017. This release includes changes to the Department Code Field and the way the TAS is displayed on the IPAC User Interface and Reports.
